Trydent (Yvan de Wert) is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this privacy statement. We process your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide them to us directly.
1. Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data: name, email address, company name, and any other information you provide through our contact form. To limit abuse of the contact form (a maximum of 5 messages per hour), we store a hash of your IP address together with the time of sending for each message sent, not the IP address itself. This hash is pseudonymous, not anonymous. Our web server keeps standard access logs (including your IP address) for security and troubleshooting; these are rotated and deleted automatically. We also collect pseudonymised analytics data through Google Analytics, but only after you have given explicit consent. This data is not anonymous: it is linked to a cookie ID. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
2. Purpose of Processing
We process your personal data to respond to your inquiries, to improve our website, and to comply with legal obligations under Dutch law.
3. Cookies
Our website uses functional cookies (necessary for the website to function) and analytics cookies (Google Analytics). Analytics cookies are only placed after you give explicit consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie icon in the footer. Functional cookies do not require consent under Article 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act. The contact form uses one such functional session cookie (PHPSESSID) for CSRF protection; it is strictly necessary and therefore requires no consent.
4. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw your consent and to object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, please contact us at info@trydent.nl.
5. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which they were collected, or as required by law. Contact form data is retained for a maximum of 2 years after the last interaction. The hash of your IP address and the timestamps for the message limit are kept in a temporary file on our own server; timestamps and files older than one hour are deleted automatically.
6. Third Parties
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We share data with Google Analytics only if you have given explicit consent. We have a data processing agreement with Google to ensure your data is protected. This website and our email are hosted on a virtual private server (VPS) managed by Trydent, with its own mail server. Google Analytics data may be transferred to the United States; such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
