Systems integration
Systems integration: connecting your business systems
At Trydent I connect your tools so they talk to each other: APIs, legacy systems and third-party services. Data no longer has to be copied across by hand.
When integration is needed
Most businesses run several systems side by side: an accounting package, a web shop, a planning tool, a CRM. As long as they don't talk to each other, someone copies the data across by hand. That costs hours every week and produces errors.
An integration solves that without you having to replace the systems that work well.
What I connect
- Your own systems to third-party services through their API.
- Legacy systems to newer software.
- Your ERP, planning and web shop to each other, so an order is entered only once.
- Customer and partner portals connected directly to your internal databases, so partners and customers can do business on their own and in real time.
- APIs for software I build, so other systems can connect to it.
Approach
An integration often touches several systems at once, so the design matters. I first map which data comes from where and where it needs to go, then design the integration. You see the plan before any code is written. The build runs in iterations, and every integration is tested for security, performance and reliability before it goes live. After delivery I stay available for maintenance.
A project with complex integrations typically takes 3 to 6 months. After the first conversation you get a realistic plan with clear milestones.
From Boxtel, I work for businesses in north-east Brabant and the rest of the Netherlands.

Frequently asked questions
- Can Trydent connect to an old system?
- Yes. Connecting legacy systems is part of systems integration. Whether and how it can be done depends on the system; that becomes clear in the first conversation.
- Is integrating better than replacing everything with one new system?
- It depends on the situation. Sometimes integrating is enough, sometimes replacing is wiser. I give honest advice on that before anything is built.
- Which technology does Trydent use for integrations?
- That depends on the systems being connected. For backends I use Laravel, Python or Node.js, with whichever database fits: MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB or Redis.
- Does my data stay confidential?
- Yes. Your sensitive business information and data stay confidential.
